The Chant of Savant

Monday 17 March 2014

Congrats brother Ridhiwani!

The once untouchable son of president, Saadi Gaddafi being shaven after being extradited from Niger recently.
When I got news that Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) appointed the son of President Jake Kiquette, Riz, to   fly its flag in Chalinze by-election so that he can retain his father`s seat, I felt relieved. I must admit. I like the courage of Kiquette’s family. For, despite many tongues wagging about the way they do their things, they care not. So too, I must admit.  I’m not a fun of any party or person except myself. I know. Many viherehere hate CCM as they call it a do-nothing outfit or a sitting duck and other many bad names.  They say that it has nary delivered as if they have ever delivered anything. If it didn`t deliver why did you vote for it?  Whatever failure and weakness, I’ll still love CCM. Sometimes people talk without thinking. Do they think that it is only CCM that’s nary done anything? Ask them. What good can they show in our hunk? Don’t they know that our political parties reflect our own behaviour and mores? If secondary school guys and the ministry of education failed not to mention investment and whatnot, why then expect our sports to perform better?
True, CCM did the right thing so to speak. Bravo and thanks CCM for appointing the son of President. I understand. You appointed him to show how humble, trustworthy, and hardworking he is. For, if he were not humble he’d have turned the offer down and questioned the intention to appoint the high and mighty like him especially the son of president.  I know.  Many fyatus will oppose this saying CCM’s appointment comes with price tag on it namely  giving the son of the president a chance that'd have been taken by a son or daughter of a pauper. Or they'll aver that Ridhiwani’s been given another opportunity to mint and print dosh. Again, what’s wrong with it? If there are shekels to be raked, let they be raked.  It seems that those guys have forgotten Kenya recently voted the son of the president to become president like his father and everything is spiffy? Bravo CCM. Did they want CCM to appoint Matonya’s son with all that filthy destitution?  Ridhiwani’s a son of president and a politician by birth. In our hunk, if you’re not connected, you can’t make money. These are different times that need different strategies to survive.
Some people make me sick especially the way they think sickly. Did they want the son or daughter or wife of president to be a pauper like those of Mwl Nyerere who’s intoxicated with ethics instead of deals?  Times for ethics and principles are long gone. It's time for deals. During Nyerere’s time power's for people but currently after free trade and free gain took over, power's for making dosh quickly using people. Ujanja kupata eti? Don’t you know!
Dear Riz,
The other day I heard some boozers accusing your dad namely H.E., Dr., Col., ndugu Jake Kiquette of nepotism little knowing that there can’t be nepotism in the hunk of ndugus. They went ahead fabricating their accusations saying that stinks with of nepotism. When I asked them the reasons why they were making such surreal allegations, they said that your father namely Mr. President allowed you, your young brother, your mom and uncles to grab some high position in his party. I went on asking them if your father’s party were theirs or their fathers’, they said it isn't. I then told them to mind their business.
As Ben Mkappie put it: Some guys have wivu wa kike so to speak. Even if it were true that your dad allowed you to use his ulaji to climb ladders, why don’t they do the same to their kids, wives and friends? Anyway Riz, forget what the broken hearts are saying. Do they think you’re the first one to enjoy your dad’s power? It seems those guys aren’t educated.  They don’t know that Joseph Desire Mobutu (former Zaire), Sani Abacha (Nigeria) and Omar Albert Bongo (Gabon) invented this family business stuff when one is in power just to mention a few.
Going back to being appointed to battle it out for your father’s constituency, I heard some fyatus saying that this is too much. One of them said, and I quote, “Ridhiwani’s in almost every ulaji!” I then asked him sarcastically, “Where did you want him?” The guy’s lucky. He didn't jabber anymore. Otherwise I’d have broken his neck.
They’re saying that you’re almost in every ulaji. Tell them to go to hell. What’s wrong with building your nation by being all over the place? I know when they say you’re in everything they mean you being in CCM’s NEC that gave the title of MNEC just like your mom. Why don’t detractors want to accept that you’re a ruling family that must rule everybody and everything? You rule youth while your dad rules the old men especially those of Dar.  And your mom rules women through WAMA. Don’t they know that if you’re not that reasonable you’d been voted the chair of UVCCM?

Let them enjoy their loot while they can. There will be a price to pay sooner or later, I am sure.
